This will be the 5th season of the original Basketball Wives’ reality show and once again they are switching up cast members. Ironically, this time there will be an ACTUAL WIFE being casted, not an ex wife, fiancé, babymama, girlfriend or groupie. Seeing that originals Jennifer, Royce and newcomer Kesha will no longer be apart of the cast, there is need for new cast members, so former NBA star Stephon Maubury’s wife Tasha Maubury will be joining the show.
Even though Stephon isn’t playing in the NBA anymore and balling in China right now, his mark hasn’t been erased. Aside from being a Staten Island basketball phenom. Everyone knows Stephen.
We know how these “Basketball Wives” act on the show, so I’m curious to see how Tasha will mesh. Evelyn says she has had a “breakthrough” on life since she was headbutted by her future ex husband Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, so maybe it won’t be AS much drama. We’ll see how this new addition works.
