Tragedy Strikes The Rap Game Yet Again…But So Soon?

Published on June 16th, 2012

Just yesterday I reported that Atlanta rapper J Futuristic was shot up during his first video shoot but tragedy has hit the home of rap again. California battle rapper Tall T was murdered in broad daylight on Tuesday, June 12th. Wow! That’s cold!
Tall T was enjoying a nice day at Long Park in Stockton, California with his girlfriend. Then someone tapped him on the shoulder and as Tall T turned around the gunman opened fire on him! Sad! There aren’t any motives or suspects to the shooting. Honestly it could be anyone motivated by pure hate and jealousy.
His friends and family gathered at Sherwood Forest Park to mourn his death while speaking to the news. They revealed that even though he had a troubled past he wasn’t involved in any type of gang or violent activity when he became an adult. Tall T was a aspiring musician and a responsible and loving father.

“There was never a moment when he wasn’t smiling or laughing.  Tall stood out because of his style: Hollister clothing all the time, 80′s style cardigans, the flat top.  Everyone knew Tall and they all loved him.  So, I don’t know why someone would want to do this to him.” A family member expressed.
He was planning to release an album later this summer and even though he is no longer with us his family still plans to release his music as scheduled.
Tall T’s legal name was Tyrone Franklin and he was JUST 23 years old. For those that may not be familiar with him, you can look up some of his rap battles on youtube.
Gone but never forgetten. Violence has took another young life and it was done in the most horrible manner, in broad daylight. With all this “beefing” going on, it makes you ask, is it really worth it?
