Basketball Wives star Royce Reed thought she hit the love jackpot again but the keyword is she THOUGHT she hit the love jackpot. If you don’t know who she is and why she is on Basketball Wives let me tell you, it is because she is the babymama of Orlando Magic superstar Dwight Howard. It don’t make her a wife but neither are any of the other exes and babymamas on the show. Anywho, Royce has a new beau Dezmon Briscoe of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. She switched up sports but still hasn’t had any luck.
       In the past Royce has had a couple of boyfriends on the show she thought could be the one but turned out to be a bust. Again keyword THOUGHT! Anyway Royce’s dad is always trying to tell her to slow down and don’t hurry love but Royce never seems to listen, this time included.
So recently Royce’s new boo Dezmon’s babymama took to twitter to air some dirty laundry after hearing that Royce was talking smack about her. Dezmon’s babymama Christina Nero revealed to the world, in particular Royce that Dezmon has been sending her freaky text messages. Royce being so in love lashed out and said that Christina was lying. So to prove that she wasn’t Christina tweeted the text messages she had received. In the texts Christina did ask about Royce but Dezmon dodged that question and started talking freaky; then he continued to say how happy he was that he had her as his babymama snd started talking a bit more freaky to her.
       Smh Royce sure does know how to pick them doesn’t she?
       Poor naïve Royce just wants to be in love so badly she will believe anything. In her head she believes Christina had one of her friends change their name to Dezmon’s and text her that stuff and some way Royce believes Christina had the contact number, date and time changed to make it seem like Dezmon sent those texts. Wow Royce that’s nearly impossible but if that’s the lie you had to tell yourself to make yourself not feel stupid, so be it. Of course she asked Dezmon if he sent them and OF COURSE he said no. Who would admit to something like that to their girlfriend? Nobody I know! Anyway Royce believed him and as a final shot to Christina she tweeted pics of her and Dezmon happy in love.
       Oh but the story doesn’t end there, there is more. What is done in the dark will come to the light as the old folks used to say. As for Royce she was hit with a whole lot of light because everything Christina was saying was true. Pow! Honestly it never sounded like a lie from the beginning especially after Christina posted the proof.
       Dezmon took to his twitter to clear up the confusion by admitting that he did send those texts cause he “wanted to be on her good side.” Dezmon still sticks by his story of not sleeping with his ex. I don’t believe him, he only admitted to those texts cause he was busted and Royce was looking like an idiot by trying to justify why those texts were false. But hey that’s not my relationship.
       So finally Royce ended their conversation with “Yes I feel stupid! Yes i feel betrayed! Yes I love Dez Brisco, but at this point I love myself more! I honestly don’t know what imma do!”
       I know you do. And Dezmon responded to her tweet with one of his own and it was simple, “Do what’s best for you…Point blank..”
       So what happens from there we don’t know right now. Royce has different projects to keep her busy and the football season is about to start for Dezmon in a few months so we’ll see. I hope this time she listens to her dad cause he was trying to school her but she just knew this one was different. They are all different but none seem to be for her. If they stay together I hope she is smarter this go around but I have a funny feeling she won’t. There is no doubt in my mind that she will take him back, I’ve seen how she acts with him on the episodes of Basketball Wives but we’ll see what happens.
