I never understood what is up with these celebrities not paying their taxes. Wesley Snipes did time, Young Buck’s mansion is being sold to pay his tax debt, and so many more entertainers are not paying their taxes. Well the infamous Lauryn Hill can be added to that list. We haven’t heard much from her over the years but it looks like Lauryn has plead guilty to not paying her taxes for 2005, 2006 and 2007. It is said that she made over 1.8 million dollars during that time.
The real part of this whole ordeal is that Lauryn was honest about her wrong doings. The judge over her case asked her point blank if she “intentionally and willingly” refused to pay her taxes and she simply said yes. Well because of that Lauryn may be facing 3 years prison time and fines amounting in 75,000 dollars. Ouch! She’ll will be seen back in court in November to get her sentence.
