Jay-Z once held the record for the most concerts to be performed in a 24 hour time frame by The Guinness Book Of World Records  . Well not anymore, Rock group, The Flaming Lips now hold the spot. Jay Z’s record was 7 shows performed in 24 hours but The Flaming Lips beat him by one show, making the new record to be broke at 8 shows.
 

The Flaming Lips have successfully broken the Guinness World Record for the most concerts performed in multiple cities during a 24-hour period. After touring in 8 cities in 24 hours by bus, the Wayne Coyne-fronted band successfully took over the achievement from former record-holder Jay-Z, who previously traveled in 7 cities via private jet. Well that’s something because they traveled by bus and still made it further than Jay who traveled by jet. That shows true determination, true hustle for their fans. I’m not saying Jay doesn’t show the same but the way they broke the record gives them the edge. So congratulations to The Flaming Lips on their great accomplishment.
