As we all know by now Jay Z owns part of the New Jersey Nets, that will be renamed the Brooklyn Nets when the 2012-2013 season starts. He designed the new team jerseys and now he is the director of Brooklyn’s Barclays Arena where the Nets will be playing next season. Wow! Jay is doing big things!
Forest City Ratner Cos., the company developing the arena named Jay Z aka Shawn Carter as one of the owners when applying for a liquor license for the arena. So one of Jay’s responsibilities will be to over look the arena’s daily operations.
Even though his title as director hasn’t been publicly disclosed, it isn’t a rumor but a fact. Just remember you heard it here at House of Aura.
