Just when it looks like the Knicks are one big happy family, a rumor surfaces. The Knicks have Carmelo Anthony, Jeremy Lin, JR Smith, Amare Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler, a recipe for an outstanding starting line up as well as good competition. Well like we all know too many stars on one team will create a problem and I believe New York we have a problem!
       So JR is the newest edition to the Knicks. He was signed February 17th of this year. He seems to be the center of the most recent allegations. What allegations you ask, well supposedly Melo advised the Knicks management NOT to sign JR. Why Melo? I mean JR is a good player and he was a perfect addition in my eyes. Well maybe Melo knew what type of dude JR was. I mean JR tried to get with Melo’s wife LaLa when Melo was with Denver, hmmmm. More recently JR got a $25,000 fine from the team for tweeting nude pictures of vixen Tahiry. Bad boys!
       What’s so ironic is that Melo publicly made it seem like he had no problem with JR signing with the Knicks before hand.
       “If it happens, it happens and I’ll be happy,” stated Melo.
       Now does that sound like someone who didn’t want JR on their team? Someone close to Melo says that his initial reaction to the Knicks signing JR was a negative one. Furthermore, Melo was hurt that the management team didn’t listen to him about NOT signing JR.
       OMG Melo! Are your reasons for not wanting JR on the team personal reasons or strategic reasons? *shrugs* All I have to say is “Melo hating doesn’t look good on you at all!” The team is doing fairly well, better than the past, I must say; so if Melo has a personal beef with JR, handle that after the season is over. Basketball is a team sport so therefore it takes a team to win games and to make it to championships.
