Damon Dash hasn’t been on the scene since Roc-A-Fella broke up; in lament terms, Damon Dash vanished when Jay- Z terminated their friendship and business relationship.
Rapper Curren$y is the one making Dam relevant again. According to Curren$y, Dam has been profiting off of his music WITHOUT his permission by selling his albums. Once Curren$y got wind of what was going on he sent out a message of his own by placing a 1.5 million dollar lawsuit in Dam’s lap.
The question is, how did Dam even get his greedy little hands on Curren$y’s music anyway? Well he and Curren$y had an agreement back in 2010 to work together, but Curren$y says nothing ever surfaced. Curren$y later signed to Warner Bros Records and vanished from BlakRoc. Apparently, Dam started releasing a bunch of spitta records, which he has no right to. That’s the basis of this lawsuit because Dam is demanded to pay 1.5 million dollars towards damages and will be told to STOP selling what’s not his.
The case hasn’t went before a judge yet but Dam is already speaking out about the accusations saying he has rights to sell Curren$y’s music and that Curren$y stabbed him in the back when he signed with Warner Bros.

Wow the things people do to make a little change to keep up their lifestyle. Damon Dash isn’t one to talk about loyalty seeing what happen with him and Jay Z. Furthermore, no one has time to wait on a has been, Curren$y is trying to make his money NOW and doesn’t have time to wait on anybody. I feel him on doing his thing and moving onto BIGGER and BETTER things such as Warner Bros. Dam get a new hobby because being a snake isn’t working for you.

We’ll see how this will play out but I doubt if Damon Dash comes out on top.
