Bio:
- My name is Andrew Hillmedo Jr, a “jack of all trades”, 23 yrs old livin in the Bronx. Ever since i was 7-8yrs old I’ve shown signs of creativity, I used to draw a lot of the cartoon characters that I saw and my level of drawing was pretty high. I’ve been drawing since then and have learned a lot along the way so I’m a pretty good illustrator now. Along with drawing, I was fascinated with technology and how things work. I built my first computer at the age of 14 and since then I’ve been building/upgrading/repairing/troubleshooting computers as a hobby and I’ve also worked in desktop support for a few companies.

The next thing that I’ve always liked doing was writing poems, and soon enough those poems turned into songs. In high school I got my hands on fruityloops, adobe audition, and my cheapo $15 radioshack mic and started making my own beats and recording my own songs. Horrible production but they were funny, no way respected by a true hip hop fan, but enough that anyone who heard it would find the lyrics funny. Now I’ve upgraded my work station and the quality of my tracks are far better than they once were. People may notice that I don’t sound the same on every track, that’s because I don’t care about being able to be identified on a track, I care about making a hot song! So if a particular flow or tone doesn’t fit it, I will change it for the better of the song. And at the end of the day, if your song is being played and people like it, that’s all that matters. I love working on intricate catchy beats, those are the first things I notice when I hear a song and it can turn a crappy song into a hit. All in all, I’m all about making GREAT music and I’m enjoying the journey to reaching the best of my potential. A few of the artists who inspire me are Busta Rhymes (old school version), Ludacris, Eminem, Alicia Keys, and Ryan Leslie.

Music isn’t my only love, acting is as well. I’ve been an actor since 2007. I started out doing background for movies such as “My Super Ex-Girlfriend” and “Margaret”, including commercials like the Verizon network, MTV, and VH1. But I’ve managed to start getting some real roles, such as “Dante” in “Baby Mama” by Universal Pictures, “Santos’ Accomplice” in “Liberty Kid” by IIya Chaiken, and some thug roles (lol) in a few things like “Watching the Detectives”.

And I’m not done yet, main passion outside of fame is becoming a 3D modeler. I’ve always drawn my own characters and wanted to turn them into live 3D animations. I went to the School of Visual Arts in NY majoring in Computer Art and had to drop out my 2nd year due to not being able to cover my tuition. Doing 3D is still a dream of mine, and even if I became a famous rapper, producer, actor, or whatever I’ll still work to learn Maya or 3Ds Max and bring my art to life. I’ve also done a lot of graphic design, using photoshop for over 8 years now, I’ve made websites, logos, mixtape covers, manipulated photos, etc…

And then (i know it’s a lot right? lol) I’m currently working for ARRI as a camera technician full time. For those who don’t know, ARRI is responsible for making a lot of the cameras that are used to make the movies we watch and even some of the music videos we see on tv. Being with ARRI for the past few years, I’ve learned how to operate and troubleshoot film cinema cameras and digital cinema cameras such as the SONY Red One camera, and now I’m currently fulfilling my role as an electrician.

So as you can see, so many talents up my sleeve and there’s still a lot of things i haven’t mentioned, but i’ll save that for another time lol. Thanks!
